I’m 42 years old. I’ve been married for 18 years and have a 14 year old son. I’ve always been active, from climbing trees as a young child to playing basketball and figure skating during Junior High and High School.During my 20’s and early 30’s I thought I was too busy for exercise and guess what? “Yes, the weight gain started!”
I took part on my first fitness class with the Sisters, however, at that time they were just April and Michelle at a local gym (Fit Works) and I never stayed with it. In 2007, I decided it was time to get in shape and be a healthier person. I joined Sisters in Fitness and have been hooked ever since.
I love it all but my passion is strength training and running. I started running April 2009 and became a running instructor that fall.
Becoming a fitness instructor with Sisters in Fitness seems like a natural progression in my fitness journey. I’m so excited to be completing my Pound Rockout Workout training in New York December 2013.
I look forward to bringing a fun and energized rock’n workout to the Sisters in Fitness clients.
Welcome Diane to our Instructor Team:
“Diane brings a solid workout consistency record; she certainly “practices what she preaches.” Diane is a familiar face in our programs as she is testament to superior cross training- strength- interval trainers, metabolic trainers-abs classes and realizes the importance of yoga. She has a wealth of knowledge and full of positive energy. “states April Porter Crews- SIF Co-Owner.
“Don’t let this little, 5 foot, blond fool you, she is very mighty and strong! Diane puts 100% in every workout. I witness her tenacity and persistence in numerous classes. She has a very dynamic, sociable personality; I know our clients will be motivated by her energy. I know this first hand. I have run side by side with this Seal Cove native and (Pam Fagan) numerous marathons and long training runs. Diane is a gifted running instructor and we are grateful that she took on challenge and joined our Fitness Instructor Team.” Michelle Porter, SIF Co-Owner
